Description
SCSV Surface Control Subsurface Safety Valve is connected through control lines to surface safety control system. The valve opens while surface hydraulic pressure exceeds the sum of spring drag and downhole pressure. When emergency occurs, the hydraulic pressure is quickly released and the valve closes automatically and instantly.
