Conventional guide shoe is just made by beveling treatment on tubing body and coupling and used for guiding running of pipe string. In the case of tight hole in highly deviated well and horizontal well, rotating string sometimes acts, but string accompanying with cable control line may be damaged to causing operation failure while rotating string.
STARSE’s SSGS auto guide shoe is connected at the bottom of string and used to guide string into packer or sealbore, particularly suitable for that in highly deviated well and horizontal well. Without rotating string, the auto guide shoe can rotate beveling position in downhole in case of tight hole to guide string running smoothly through the tight hole.
