Great News. STARSE RASA Reservoir Reformation Technology have been successfully applied in the well BG-0947 of Burgan oilfield in Kuwait. Well BG-0947 spud date is Jul 31, 2014 and shut off in Oct of 2020 due to high water cut (WC 85%) and low oil production. After the first workover in Nov 2020, there is no natural flow. The reservoir is shallyness sandstone reservoir with good porosity. The reservoir fracture pressure gradient is 0.65psi/ft, reservoir depth of 4368ft, and reservoir temperature of 130 ° F. Finally STARSE RASA Reservoir Reformation Technology is selected for the well first stimulation treatment. The RASA solid acid was pumped into the well on Apr 25, 2022. The well was carried the N2 activation for two times, one on May 16 and the other on Jun 5. Then the well come back to natural flow on Jun 6 with the total rate at 222 BLPD, Oil rate at 171 BOPD and WC at 20.4%. It fulfills the client pilot project expectation and more than 20 days sustain production shows another successful application of RASA Reservoir Reformation Technology. The oilfield Innovation & Technology Group sent a recognition letter to STARSE for this outstanding performance on Jun 28, 2022.
