On Jan.11, 2018, STARSE group chief geologist Song Yang and senior reservoir engineer Lin Dechun attended the meeting in Shanghai which is organized by CNOOC Shanghai branch about exchange and discussion of water control completion program for Well LS 36-1-A10H.
Song Yang gave a report of water control completion technology of LS36-1-A10H Well and analyzed the well reservoir characteristics, water production factors and key control intervals. According to the geological characteristics of the past successful experience and combining with the well, variable density screen and C-AICD water control technology solutions are recommended, with particular emphasis on characteristics of water restriction and gas pass through of C-AICD and covers the life-cycle of gas well production. CNOOC Shanghai Branch, Development and Production Department, Engineering and Technology Center, Engineering Company expressed their full recognition of the technical program and would make further optimization by the Engineering Technology Center to conclude the fault descending gas zone isolation.
The two sides also discussed the schedule of material supply for the drilling operation in the following month.
