Integrated Reservoir Protection Technique Applied in Dagang Oilfield


Well Zao-55-10H in No. 3 Production Plant of CNCP Dagang Oilfield went on stream successfully on July 9th 2017. The integrated lower completion service was performed by STARSE and stable output reached 50 m3 (ton)/d since 9th day after production. As to January 25th 2018, this well has been producing oil more than 200 days stably. Relatively, the output of adjoining wells of same layer: 2.46 tons/day for Well Zao-55, 6.36 tons/day for Well Zao-131 and 2.88 tons/day of Feng-22-15.
 
STARSE's integrated lower completion and reservoir protection technology was used for Well Zao-55-10H, in combination with the practical situation of tailored completion program, and deployed a series of featured products: SSTP Packers with features of large displacement washing and preventing premature setting and hanging; SDW Dual-way Washing Assembly which can achieve automatic filling mud and large displacement washing; Bridging Aperture Screen has capacities of high permeability and strong erosion; STARSE Swellable Packer and Staged sealbore etc. A series of integrated completion and reservoir protection technologies were utilized, including large displacement washing string technique, borehole cleaning technique, moderate water control technique, production management control technique and openhole multistage completion etc. These technologies have played a decisive role in exceeding planned output dramatically.
 
The well depth is 3413m, and the lower completion finished only took 1.31 days, which reflects high efficiency of the completion technology of STARSE, and saves the operation time and expense for customer.
 
Well Zao-55-10H performs safely and effectively in the whole operation and output after the production is far more than expected, obtaining highly appreciation from customer, marking STARSE’s c integrated completion and reservoir protection technology has realized the good start and success in this field.
