On December 23, 2014, the company's vice President and general manager of Oilfield Service Company Shine Chen participated in the summary meeting of Panyu 55 wells adjustment project of drilling and completion operation.
Panyu 4-2/5-1 project is a large lower completion integrated project won by STARSE in the east of the South China Sea with large number of wells and long operation period. Since September 19, 2012, the first well PY4-2 - B01H was spud-in to August 31, 2014 the final well PY5-1 - B03H lower end completion operation was completed, duration of 712 days totally, completed panyu adjustment Wells project a total of 55 wells lower completion operations in this project. The top packer and plug-in locking device worked stably and reliably during the operation. The automatic filling function is realized by dual-way washing device, which can save 1.5 hours of manual filling time for each well. The maximum washing capacity of the lower completion pipe string reaches 5BPM, compared with the 3BPM of conventional tool, it can reduce the displacement time by 1.2 hours for each well, saving 176 hours of 55 Wells totally. Openhole interval length of PY5-1-B28H and PY4-2-B12HB28H is 831.66 m and 820.32 m respectively, recognized the great difficulty of horizontal well for panyu operating company, the two Wells lower completion operation were done successfully at a time, making a highly appraise from CNOOC Panyu Operation Company.
Besides, STARSE was awarded "excellent service contractor" for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013. In project summary meeting, general manager of CNOOC Panyu Operation Company granted the "outstanding contributions" honorary certificate to STARSE to for the safe, high quality and high efficiency of the lower completion services.
